Are You Prepared?

Are you prepared to survive what many forecast to be either a geopolitical crisis, a domestic act of terrorism, or a meltdown of either the world or domestic economy? 

Many educated and well versed individuals believe that it is not a question IF they will occur, but rather WHEN. 

The cold facts reveal that new economic and political realities are facing the American people. To protect ourselves, we must face these threats that will present themselves in the upcoming years. 

We now have to concern ourselves with a host of increasingly numerous fronts; cross border terror threats, internal terror threats, a severely flawed immigration and border policy, geopolitical events surround those countries such as China, Iran, North Korea and Russia, an economy that is perched on the edge of disaster and government leaders on both sides of the aisle who have lost touch with the heartland. .   

Many believe that China will soon be the worlds’ military and economic power house. North Korea remains their rogue nation that can rein intimidation on the western world. Russia wants to re-establish itself a world power with Iran as its rogue nation. 

Who really will stand up to these nations? Our economic blunders have forced our hand on foreign policy. Couple this with the current and ever increasing political correctness, the US and the western world leaders do not have the go-nads to challenge anyone anywhere even though we currently have the finest military this world has ever seen. 

Our domestic economy has been described as a house of cards. The dollar is steadily losing value. The US Government continues printing money at a breakneck pace. Government spending is at an all time high with no end in sight, our trade and budget deficits are also at all time highs and we have become completely dependent upon foreign investments to fund our debts. 

Since 1973, our fiat currency has been supported by the “petro dollar”. Since 1980, America has gone from the world’s greatest creditor nation to our now current status of the world’s greatest debtor nation. There is a growing aversion for foreign governments to hold US currency 

Let’s see… The Asian countries hold much of America’s debt and the petro dollar is connected with OPEC. Iran and North Korea (read Russia and China), as well as Venezuela have moved away from the petro dollar and moved to the “petro euro”. In 2008, all of OPEC considered moving to the petro euro. If this would occur, the dollar will be virtually worthless. We will see inflation such as the like of the Weimar Republic, 1922 Austria and 1932 Argentina.  

Can’t happen hear you say? Consider that we have an energy crisis (peak oil) and we have no real strategy for supplying our current let alone future anticipated needs, we are fighting a multi theatre war on terror with no end in sight because our governmental leaders are to politically correct, are clueless when it comes to the art of warfare and just plain do not have the stomach to do what needs to be done. We have a weakening currency (economy) and have worked ourselves into a position of damned if we do and damned if we don’t (read…inflation now, inflation later). We have trillions (for some reason I can say it, but I just can’t imagine how large this really is) in governmental debt that is growing with interest by the minute with virtually no means of repaying the interest let alone the principal. 

Are you prepared to weather the upcoming financial or geopolitical crisis? Now is the time to prepare yourself, it’s too late when you hear it from Cavuto. 

I am preparing for this in a spiritual and physical manner; 

1. Today we see that man cannot rule man. This has always and will always fail. We need to embrace God’s word and kingdom.
    

1. We need to educate ourselves and our own community. In my first article for the Heartland, I wanted to take “30 for US”. Do that and do it now. Become aware of what is happening in a geopolitical sense, economic issues both here and globally, and PLAN. Plan on how to initially survive if the electrical grid goes down, Plan on how to survive if the local convenience store has no food, Plan on how to defend your property and family against looters who have FAILED to plan.
    

1. Find your God and worship him. An old saying that I recall is that if you have to give…its law. When you give because you feel you should… its obligation. But when you give from the heart… its love.
    

1. Get out of debt/ get out of bondage. Well… at least personal debt. As citizens of this country, we will never be debt free.
    

1. Start building your cash reserves. This could be a diversified portfolio of dollars, precious metals and other foreign currency.
    

1. Stock up on food, water and medicine. One month’s food & water supply is minimal.
    

1. Prepare your home to be better able to withstand the hardships that will come.
    

1. Stock up on those items you see as bartering currency. This could include ammunition, alcohol, cigarettes, gasoline, foodstuffs, and any other non perishable essential item that people will have a desire or need for.
    

1. Protect your own interests first. Then find like minded individuals and organize your community. I have stated in our training seminars that as a cohesive group we can survive. As individuals we may fight, but we will die.
    

1. Finally, get your mind right. You need to be mentally prepared to face every situation and accept every consequence that may present itself. Learn to be a leader by having the information and options at hand. Greg and I teach these skills at our training site so that other community leaders can not just survive, but live during these times.
